Families are by no means expected to contribute to every fundraiser! That is why there are a lot of options, so everyone can find one or two that fit for them. But please choose one or two to participate in so everyone benefits. And please tell your family and friends!

CDCPA Executive Committee Job Descriptions
President: Oversees the activities and organization of the CDCPA. The President will preside at all monthly meetings of the CDCPA and Executive Committee, and perform all duties pertaining to the office. The President shall appoint such committees and committee chairpersons as necessary to fulfill the business and activities of the CDCPA and shall coordinate activity among the Committee Chairpersons. Routinely check in with CDCPA officers and Committee Chairs. Contribute to monthly newsletters (if applicable).
Vice President: The Vice President is to perform all duties of the President in his or her absence or disability. Should the office of President become vacant during the year, the Vice President shall automatically become President. Assist President in checking in with Committee Chairs regularly for updates. Create a monthly newsletter (if applicable). Continually update President with any new information.
Secretary: The Secretary will record all proceedings of the CDCPA and Executive Committee meetings and submit, within two weeks, a copy of the minutes to the Executive Committee. The Secretary shall keep all books, attend to all correspondence of the CDCPA and of the Executive Committee, and keep available copies of all correspondence. All records shall be turned over to the Secretary’s successor. Continually update President with any new information.
Treasurer: The Treasurer is to account for all monies received by the CDCPA and work with the Financial Secretary to provide a written report of the bank accounts at each monthly CDCPA meeting. The Treasurer shall turn over all reports and records to the Auditing Committee on June 30. Pays bills for the CDCPA and gathers, organizes, and keeps track of financial transactions. Send the Executive Committee a mid-monthly and end of the month detailed budget report on what has gone out and come in. Prepares financial report for monthly CDCPA meeting. Continually update President with any new information.
Financial Secretary: It shall be the duty of the Financial Secretary to maintain complete and accurate financial records and account for all monies expended by the CDCPA. The Financial Secretary will work with the Treasurer to provide a written report on the bank accounts at each monthly CDCPA meeting. Continually update President with any new information.
